History:
Since 2000, Israel has been the largest American trading partner in the Middle East, larger than American trade with Saudi Arabia, including US oil imports. Today, there are more Israeli companies listed on American securities exchanges than any country after the US and Canada. America-Israel relations are based on common values; democracy, free markets and the rule of law. Business is the manifestation of the strong values shared by Americans and Israelis.
MISSION:
Our mission is to connect American and Israeli businesses to increase trade and commerce between America and Israel to fuel economic growth for both regions.
Goal:
To Educate and Inspire. To meet the needs of our members by delivering opportunities tailored to their needs.
Mitzvah Projects:
August 17, 2006 The America-Israel Chamber's Florida donated an automated external defibrillator to The Nesher Seniors day Care Center in Israel.
September, 2006: Raised $5,650. for the Voucher Fund for the Israelis who fought and or assisted in the war.
December, 2006 This event raised Over 6 thousand dollars for the American Friends of Magen David Adom (MDA). The goal was to purchase a new ambulance for the city of Herzliya in Israel.
